History was made this week Rams Fans. The mens 45s were on fire and sealed their inaugural win. 18 months in the making, these three super strikers (ably assisted by their elite team mates) delivered in spades. Oh how sweet it is! Special mention goes to our resident ‘athlete’ Steve Buddeke (because he told me I had to). Hooray!!!
Our Under 9s ventured to Hamlyn Terrace recently to compete in the Woongarrah Wildcats gala day.  The match report is supplied by our roving reporter Ross ‘Roscoe’ Hansen.
Team Line up. Zac Bissett , Zoe Delaney, Matt Larkin, Ben Hunter, Reid Toombs, Kai Davison, Jack Toombs, Stephanie Hansen & Sammy Horn Woongarrah Gala day one of the best! Wow what a great day for all 36 teams. All had a World Cup team name and our awesome Rams team had the name of Belgium. Weather was great although a bit chilly in the wind. Plenty of end to end action all 5 games. Perhaps player of the tournament Zac Bissett filling in for Jesse Brazier. Great day for Zac & plenty of goals, a future Mariner maybe... Zoe Delaney took a while to warm up but once she did so did Stephanie Hansen her partner in crime... Girl power ! Matthew and Ben are best mates and it showed with Plenty of combinations that would have had Germany jealous.. Ben scored 2 ripper goals too.. Reid filled in as well stepping up from under 7's to have the opposition gasping at his skills, he scored the first goal with skills of Messi! Reid's brother Jack too was dominant but played a back role. Jack did not stop smiling and his
skills have improved so much this year! He did sometimes broke free running thru the middle, one of the best players on the day.. Sammy Horn played his first ever gala day and was amazing, Mum was so proud to see his enthusiasm and commitment ... The five games saw very close scores lines with a a late goal by Terrigal in first game saw a certain win snatched to give Rams a 1-1 draw.. Second game saw many Rams chances and opposition score in last minute to lose 1-0... Wow what a great 3 games to follow... A big 3-0 win with Kai scoring one and Zac two, one was really good hard, Started from Jack in goals, rolled to Zoe and up the wing to Zac and bang nets nearly knocked over..great game.. Next game was a long wait but worth it with a 3-1 win and Ben Hunter scored his best goal ever from long range.. Crowd was screaming ... Before this he also scored a close goal which he is famous for... Last game saw a close 2-1 win again to Rams and sup a Zac scored again... Kai & Sammy finished in goals for last game and all shared the goals.. Great day and looking forward to next gala day at Gosford July 27th.. Go Rams!!!!

MPL The Berkeley Vale Wombats came to Rams HQ this week and while Third grade worked some magic and came away with 3 points it was tougher going for Reserves and 1sts with neither team registering goals on the scoreboard. While the competition leaders are out of reach, we continue to hold 6th place on the ladder.  Next Game Away Versus Umina  Thirds at 10.45, Reserves at 12.45 and 1sts at 2.45. SWL The girls have some steely determination and while injuries are a big issue at the moment, those still standing are digging in. At Woongarrah this week we again showed what we’re capable of with wins in both grades. Next Game Home Versus Gosford Reserves @ 12.45 and 1sts @ 2.45.
