Premier League

Well, The Entrance came to our place this week and former Central Coast Mariner Damien Brown made all the difference. 6 goals to 3. Highly entertaining and while the spoils went north, we're still right on their tail so look out!
Reserves could have and should have scored
more but were content with a 3-1 win.
A make up against Kanwal on Thursday night is our next challenge.

U9 Gala Day

A feature article this week very worthy of a read.
Our wonderful U5-1s and their intrepid reporter......

"  This was the Wild Cats best game of the season again. This now brings our best winning streak of the season to 1 game. Steffi had her mind on the disco today so she let all the boys do the work. There has been some magic performances this year from Hayden, Conner, Travis, Steffi and Jack but none better than Barging Ben's 5 goal haul today, grabbing the trophy and than taking autographs after the game.

Mum and Dad were stoked, when after each goal another soon followed, brother Jack has been practicing with him and no one was happier than Coach Pim Brad who after some heavy scorelines breathed easy notching up a rare victory. Once word spread about this little Ronaldo Ben, the crowd filled 6 rows deep and standing room only, talent scouts were ringing Michelle and Brent soon after game. Gosford played really well and got 3 goals with some help from Conner who was unlucky trying to save a goal and tapped it in.

This was Conners first unassisted game and we were all so happy to see him out their laughing and kicking. Cool Conner has now spent more time on the field than Mum. Travis was a big loss today so Jumping Jack stepped up again only for Barging Ben to steal the limelight. Jumping Jack saved 4 goals and got one himself and gettiing the certificate, with one of his thumping kicks, it took out Messi Steffi who had to come off injured, a promise of McDonalds somehow healed the arm. Happy Hayden did some great runs until also falling to an injury in the tummy which Mummy fixed.

Hayden usually likes playing in 18.5 degress so 14 degrees was way too cold. With no subs left it was up to rest to hold on to a good win, well done to all showing great improvement  for the final run home..
see you next week 31/7 at Terrigal 9.20 am
