Congratulations are in order for the Rams! At the annual Chairman’s Dinner we were awarded Club of the Year. What makes this tremendous achievement even more outstanding is the fact that also we won this award in 2010. Testament to the efforts of the committee, this award acknowledges the hard work and assistance provided to Central Coast Football and the sportsmanship and spirit of our club and it’s players.

COMMITTEE 2015
Our 2014 Annual Genral Meeting was well attended and the committee positions were established for the forthcoming season. Our club has enjoyed an enviable run of harmony and cohesion within the committee that has translated into the delivery of top quality service to our members. The majority of positions remain the same however after 8 years at the helm Brett Wright has handed over the president’s role to Stuart ‘Nugget’ Wetherall who has the same passion, dedication and drive that will be sure to keep the club in excellent shape.  Congratulations to the following office bearers and thanks so much for your contribution. Our All Age teams gathered at Erina Leagues on Saturday night where evryone enjoyed a night of up and celebrating our season’s achievements.  It was a great night with lots of awards presented and plenty of remeniscing with just about everyone in room pledging to ‘go round’ again next season. Brilliant!

All about Football at the East Gosford Football Club. Home of the Mighty Rams. We are one of 23 clubs on the Central Coast bringing the most popular game in the world to the local community. Completely run by volunteers in their spare time. Kids need to be turning 5 in the calendar year to start playing and we cater for all abilities and all ages for boys and girls, men and women. The younger non-competition age groups (Under 5s through Under 11s) play in the southern area of the coast. The juniors and seniors play all over the coast but how far you travel depends on what other clubs are in your particular competition. Our home ground is Hylton Moore Park. Cnr Wattle and Althorp Streets East Gosford. We are one of the very few clubs fortunate enough to have our own clubhouse we can call home.  Coaching occurs weekly at our home ground, usually one night for the littlies and 2 nights as they get older. Time depends on who coach is and when he or she is available to give up their time. On-line registrations open in early January, we start playing in the first week of April and finish in August / September. (Whilst training and trial games start in March for most teams, the senior league teams commence training much earlier. Watch the website, Facebook or our App for updates) Costs are $35 for shorts and socks from the club, registration costs vary from year to year but a guide is around the $150 mark for non comp, $170 for juniors and $250 for adults.  Boots from about $45 and shinpads from about $10 are compulsory and can be bought at many sports stores. Usually $2 to $5 per week after that for referee’s fees or when no referee is allocated a kitty builds up for an end of year party or whatever the parents / players decide. We're a family friendly club who take their football seriously but without losing sight of the joy of playing the game. We facilitate the game to all of our players whether they are playing ‘just for fun’ or have their sights set higher. We do our best to identify and develop those more talented players before sending them on to higher levels with our blessing. Our successes are many and reputation excellent. Welcome to the Rams.
