Dear Coaches and Managers We are really trying to avoid explicitly building a roster due to the time it takes and the fact that rescheduling of games for any reason, mainly wet weather, makes the roster incorrect / out of date.  So, could I please ask you to review the guide below to determine if you have canteen roster. Basically, if you are playing at Hylton Moore, your team is asked to assist with canteen duties at some time before your game. Here’s some more examples of how to work out your time in the canteen: For U5-U11 teams: If your kickoff is any time before 9am, you do not need to help (canteen only opens at 8am) Example 1 – kickoff time = 930; 2 volunteers in canteen from 830-900 (ie kickoff minus 30 mins minus 30 mins equals start of canteen) Example 2 – kickoff time = 1045; 2 volunteers in canteen from 945-1015 Example 3 – kickoff time = 1120; 2 volunteers in canteen from 1020-1050 All other teams: If your kickoff is any time before 9am, you do not need to help (canteen only opens at 8am) Example 1 – kickoff time = 900; 4 volunteers in canteen from 800-830 (not from 730 as canteen not open until 800) Example 2 – kickoff time = 1115; 4 volunteers in canteen from 945-1045 (ie kickoff minus 30 mins minus 1 hour equals start of canteen) Example 3 – kickoff time = 1330; 4 volunteers in canteen from 1200-1300
